SE660/150 x 1. Supra Gearbox Conversion Kit to suit XK140 & XK150 (all variants) with propshaft included. Our customers have had great success with this conversion and it is recognised as the best currently available Modern 5-speed Gearbox Conversion for fitting into the XK140 & XK150. The Supra derived gearbox has been in performance use, for many  years, is robust and also the smoothest performer out there (as seen in magazine comparison tests).

The gearshift ratios are nicely suited to the XK, for a comfortable overdriven 5th gear experience (see attached chart). This is a fully rebuilt gearbox and is supplied with all required parts as a kit  for each specific XK model. This is our comprehensive kit that comes with the essential drive plate (all gearbox conversion kits use a custom plate), special spigot bearing, bolt-on adaptor to mate the box to bellhousing, chrome (original style) gearshift & period gearknob (many kits do not include shifters at all), angle drive & correct length speedo cable. This price also includes a propshaft for the specific XK model. Magazines have run comparison tests on many of the gearbox conversions that were on the market and were not really too happy that the Japanese Supra box seems to offers the best drive in a British Jaguar!

This kit can be priced less propshaft if specifically requested. NOTE: If you construct your own propshaft for any conversion, it should only include one splined section for safety.
